BracaBudget does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
BracaBudget is a personal finance app developed by Luis Mario Bracamontes. This policy describes what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
The short version: we built the app to work entirely offline with no data collection. There are no accounts, no servers, and no third-party analytics.
BracaBudget does not collect:
All data you enter — transactions, categories, allocations, budget settings, preferences — is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never uploaded, never shared, and never leaves your device.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled, iOS may include this data in your device backup. That process is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
When dual-currency mode is enabled, the app fetches live exchange rates from Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev). These requests send only the currency codes you selected (e.g., USD, MXN) — no personal data is included. Rates are cached on-device after the first fetch.
The "Add Expense" Siri Shortcut is processed locally on your device by Apple's Siri infrastructure. We receive no data from these interactions.
Widgets display your weekly allowance using Apple's App Groups, a local on-device mechanism. No data is sent externally.
Exported files are generated locally and shared through iOS's standard share sheet. We do not receive or access any exported data.
You can delete all app data at any time via Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Because no data is collected, the app is appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
